To Seek, To Find, To Love:
We go through our single life seeking and finding love, and wanting to be loved. Often, we lose focus on those aspects of our lives that will bring the most meaning and affect the change needed to get there. Sadly, we continue seeking, but not finding the dream we desire. This workshop will help to clarify the aspects of seeking and finding, and how we can rely on spiritual interventions during this journey. It emphasizes on understanding who we are and taking accountability on what we can become. It helps to set the stage on what love looks like and how we will know when we find it.

Be of Good Cheer:
Face it, life reminds us regularly that we live in a telestial world. Pain, sickness, loss, tragedy money, politics and the all the rest of the gloomy realities are a part of this earth life. But we all know people somehow manage to live above the plain of normal man. Some have really learned how to dwell in a state of happiness. How do they do it? Are there secrets? Is there a hidden path? Maybe so. The scriptures say “be of good cheer.” So one thing is for sure; if it’s a commandment, a way will always be provided. Join us as we dig up some examples of humor in the scriptures and see if we can discover a little bit of help that we all need to turn up the edges of our mouth just enough to get our grin on…at least for an hour.

Mind the Gap:
'Mind The Gap' is an announcement you'll hear in the London Underground subway system when a train arrives at a station. It is a warning sign about dangers that people may encounter. Many of us have gaps in our own lives. Sometimes it is the difference between what we know and what we actually do or the gap might be between our goals and what we actually accomplish. Some of the gaps we’ll address in this workshop are:

-The gap between believing and knowing that you are a precious, beloved child of God.

-The gap between celebrating our blessings even in the presence of dashed dreams the gap between feeling the disappointment of being single in our mid-life while acknowledging the gift of home and visiting teachers and dear friends who help in areas in which a spouse might.

-The gap we can form between us and the Lord when we can’t explain why bad things happen to good people

The Holy Ghost; The Gift that Keeps on Giving:
As Latter-day Saints we are blessed with the incredible "Gift of the Holy Ghost." How do we recognize revelation? What is the difference between the Holy Ghost, the Holy Spirit, the Light of Christ? How can we tell the influences of the Holy Ghost apart from our own thoughts or promptings from the adversary? How do we cultivate the Gift of the Holy Ghost in our lives? We will explore these questions and more.

True North:
During his first 59 years, Brother Brown never felt the Holy Spirit in his life. When he was baptized his missionaries promised him the Holy Spirit would be inside him and he would receive the truth of all things. After his baptism, he prayed to have a strong testimony, to know Heavenly Father's plan for him, to know that Joseph Smith was a true prophet and to receive answers to his other questions. Brother Brown will share his testimony of how the Holy Spirit guided him to the answers to his questions and how the Spirit showed him that the internet, engineering and science are all part of the Gospel of Jesus Christ. All things give witness of the Creator
and personal revelation really happens. Brother Brown's presentation will educate you, entertain you and help you strengthen your personal testimony.
