Welcome to the 2010 Conference

"Wherefore, for this cause I gave unto you the a commandment that ye should go to the Ohio; and there I will give unto you my law; and there you shall be endowed with power from on high;"  Doctrine and Covenants 38:32

"Endowed with power from on high" is a fitting theme of the 2010 conference.  The Lord told His saints to gather in Kirtland in the early days of the church.  Although they didn't stay long, it was a tremendous period of growth, not only for the church, but for the individual members as well.  Here in Kirtland the saints received much instruction and revelation from the Lord which gave them the strength and power necessary to endure the trials they eventually faced, and to accomplish the great mission of the church.

Once again Kirtland is a gathering place, but this time it's for LDS single adults.  At the 2010 conference, there will be many oportunities to receive "power from on high".  You'll have the opportunity to listen to several speakers, including Ardeth G. Kapp, former president of the church's Young Women Organization.  You can tour the historical sites, participate in workshops and service projects, and mingle with other singles at meals, a dance, and other activities. The weekend will be topped by a very special service held in the Kirtland Temple.  Register now  to reserve your spot, then check back here periodically as we finalize the details and post them on the website.

2009 Conference

We had a very successful conference in 2009 with over 230 people attending from 20 States and Canada.  Here are a few comments by last year's participants:
